Dear cinematographers and cinemaddicts, participants and guests of the festival!

This year Odessa International Film Festival will take place for the third time. It will be held from 13th of July to 21st of July, 2012.

This summer we invite you to visit Odessa – cinematographic centre of Ukraine which became a part of the world history with such names as Sergei Eisenstein, Vera Kholodnaya, Alexandr Dovzhenko and Kira Muratova. One of the biggest film studios in Ukraine works in Odessa, and now one of the greatest film forums in Eastern Europe, Odessa International Film Festival, is held here.

While OIFF-2011 managed to gather 70,000 viewers in front of the screens, this year we wait for no less than 100,000 guests.

Grand Prize of the festival, Golden Duke statuette and money award of $15,000 will be determined via audience voting.

International Jury will award prizes for the Best Film, Best Acting and Best director. Shustov Award for the Best Ukrainian Film will be adjudged by Ukrainian Competition Jury. Besides, Ukrainian films will be also estimated by FIPRESCI. OIFF prize money fund is over $50,000. We accept applications for the competitions till April, 15.

Accreditation of guests and press will last till June, 15.
